Dr. Ken Neill III

Ken earned his doctorate in 1989, graduating with honors from the Medical College of Virginia. He received the American Cancer Society Award for Oral Pathology for being the top student of Oral Pathology. He was inducted into the Honor Societies of Sigma Zeta and Phi Kappa Phi. Ken joined his father in his Yorktown practice in June, 1989.

In 2008, Ken was awarded the Academy of General Dentistry's prestigious Fellowship Award. The Fellowship Award is presented to dentists who strive to provide the highest quality care to their patients by staying current in their profession. To receive this award, Ken had to complete 500 hours of continuing education, pass a comprehensive exam, and fulfill three years of continuing membership with the AGD. By receiving this award he has joined an elite group of more than 14,000 members who believe that good oral health for their patients is a result of going above and beyond basic requirements. Ken is a also a member of the Virginia Dental Association and the American Dental Association.

Academy of General Dentistry Fellowship Award 2008

A life long resident of York County, Ken lives in Seaford, VA with his wife, Tricia, and their two children, Cameron and Casey. Living near the water has provided Ken with the opportunity to pursue his passion for recreational fishing. He is very active in all aspects of the sport, from bringing record fish into his boat, the Healthy Grin, to assisting marine scientists with their fisheries research. He is a longtime board member of the PSWSFA and has served on various advisory committees to the Virginia Marine Resource Commission. He serves on the Finfish Management Advisory Committee as well as the Virginia Saltwater Fishing Tournament Committee. He is a member of the Highly Migratory Species Advisory Panel for the National Marine Fisheries Service and serves as an International Representative of the IGFA.

Ken is a published author and photographer. His fishing stories and experiences are well documented in his articles and photos that are widely circulated throughout the state and country, even worldwide.
